研究领域

以节肢动物（主要集中在蜘蛛类群）为研究对象，通过研究其性二型、繁殖行为、认知与学习行为、社会行为等生物学特征，探讨相应生物学特征的产生机制、进化方向以及相应特征在其生境中与周边生态因子的相互作用，从而进一步分析这些生物学特征出现和存在的适应性以及生态学意义。科研工作的开展秉承：自然现象-研究问题-研究假说-实验验证的研究模式，并通过对照实验和控制实验的对比得出可靠而客观的结论。研究课题涉及领域为：动物行为学、生态学、进化学、生理学、神经科学和生物化学。基于这些，我发现了首例哺乳动物之外的“哺乳动物”-大蚁蛛（蛛形纲蜘蛛目），并且该物种可以进行超长的亲代抚育行为,既母亲会照顾其性成熟的后代。
